Welcome to the Department of Zoology
Department of Zoology starts its journey in 2018. The department offers both undergraduate (BSc) and postgraduate (MSc) programs in zoology. These programs are designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the animal kingdom, covering diverse fields such as taxonomy, physiology, genetics, ecology, and wildlife conservation. The curriculum emphasizes both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, ensuring students are well-equipped for careers in research, academia, conservation, and applied zoology.

Mission and Vision
Mission
Department of Zoology is formed to provide students the opportunity to explore the science of life, in all its complexity and diversity. We strive to develop each student's ability to acquire and critically interpret knowledge of basic facts and theories of biology, to relate that knowledge to other subject areas.
Vision
We will-
1. inspire the scientific process including critical thinking and analysis into our instructional framework.
2.create a stimulating environment that facilitates the intellectual growth of students.
3. provide students with the time and freedom to experience ‘powerful pedagogies’ such as research, service-learning, study abroad, and internships.
4. encourage students to be advocates for science and the scientific approach to learning.
